This simple pattern is easy to customize and quick to work up. Knit and purl stitches are used to create an interesting texture with only 2 repeating rows.

Materials:

• 4 balls of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed in Down Heather (Worsted)
• US 11 (8 mm) straight needles
• tapestry needle

Note: You could adapt this pattern to work with a wide variety of yarn weights, changing the needle size as you see fit. For my example, I used 2 strands of Worsted Weight Yarn held together.
