Tyrolean Jacket
Garter stitch jacket based on a traditional climber’s jacket. Lower body is worked in garter stitch in one piece to the armholes; then back and fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and knit back and forth in rows to the wrist.
Fit: Standard (2-4” / 5-10 cm)
Measurements:
- Chest: 38 (42, 46)“ / 96.5 (106.5, 117) cm
- Length: 22 (22.5, 23.5)“ / 54.5 (56, 60) cm
Yarn: Jamieson and Smith 2 Ply Jumper Yarn (100% wool, about 130 yd / 119 m in 25 grams). Main color - 14 (15, 17) balls (shown in #FC44 Acorn); Contrast color - 3 balls for all sizes (shown in #0077 Black).
Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm, 24” / 60 cm circular needle.
