Uinta
Modern, yet classic, Uinta combines a beautiful, and simple cable pattern, with June Cashmere’s durability. This sweater is a piece you will want to wear year, after year, and it will stand the test of time. Find videos on my YouTube channel for extra help with the cables used in this design.
NOTES: The sweater is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up starting with 2 x 2 ribbing, followed by a simple cable pattern. The armholes, sleeves, and necklines are shaped using the Sloped Bind Off Method. The shoulders are seamed, and the sleeves are picked up at the armhole edge. The sleeve caps are shaped using Wrap & Turn Short Rows, and then worked down to the cuff. The sweater is blocked flat and seamed together from the hem to sleeve cuffs. To finish, the ribbed turtleneck is worked in the round from picked up stitches around the neckline.
Both written and charted instructions are given for the Uinta Cable Pattern.
