This oversized blanket cardigan is super cozy and designed to fit most adult women with a lot of positive ease (rectangle 40½“/103.5cm wide and 36”/92cm tall before folding). This rectangle is composed of square motifs joined together as you work their last round. The sides are joined together in the same manner without seaming. You can alter the size by adding or deducting the number of squares in the big rectangle (horizontally or vertically or both).

After the rectangle is ready with sides joined, you work several rounds around the main opening circumference and around the armholes to straighten out the edges. All edgings are worked with the right side facing.
