Ulla Sweater
Timeless shape with a romantic touch sweater.
Both yoke and shoulders are worked in a 1x1 twisted rib pattern which creates an interesting triangular shape. The lower part of the body is worked in stockinette stitch. The puffy sleeves are voluminous and vintage-inspired. Construction-wise, the yoke is created using shoulder increases on every round. The front and back are worked separately until the triangular yoke motive is complete. Then, the front and back are re-joined under the armhole, and the sweater is worked in the round down to the hem. The sleeves are worked by picking up the stitches from the body and worked in the round, then the ’bishop’ effect is created by a tight rib at the wrist. The sweater is worked from the top down.
The model in the picture is 169 cm / 5 ́75” tall and wears a Size 2.
