THIS HANDSOME sweater features X-shaped cables sitting on alternating bands of reverse stocking stitch and broken rib. The upper body and the sleeves are knitted in the same broken rib pattern. Pat Menchini’s design is finished with a ribbed neckband andhas a drop-shoulder shape. It’s knitted in The Fibre Co.’s Cumbria, a cosy, worsted-weight blend of Merino and Masham wool with mohair.
