Umi Nami is an asymmetrical triangular shawl worked sideways from one end to the other. It has a stockinette ridge body and features a lace picot edging along one side of the shawl. The wavy feather and fan lace border inspired by Umi Nami which means sea waves in Japanese.

Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 400 yd/4 oz (365m/115g) skeins) 1 skein each in 2 colors, shown in Main Color: Fig and Contrast Color: Spiked Punch.

Or 650 yards/594 meters fingering weight yarn; approximately 350 yards/320 meters Main Color and 300 yards/274 meters Contrast Color.
