The Umpqua Sweater is a rugged design created by Caitlin Hunter for Camp Tolt 2018. Umpqua is a simple and unisex design that you can easily take along on a camping trip or out on the trail. This bottom-up sweater saves the charted colorwork for last, so you can begin with the simple main color portion while you are out and about on your adventures. Brooklyn Tweed Shelter is the perfect yarn for this project with its remarkable warmth and lightness – it won’t weigh down your pack! We love Caitlin’s combination of the marled main color, Caribou, paired with the rich, deep contrast colors of Embers and Pumpernickel.

The second sample shown (white with orange and blue colorwork) is knit in House of A La Mode House Worsted Non-Superwash. This yarn is amazingly soft, springy and cozy!
