This simple hat pattern works up quickly in super bulky yarn. Crocheting in the round in the third loop of the half double crochet stitch creates a look similar to stockinette stitch in knitting.
This hat was designed to meet the specifications for donation to the Bridge and Beyond, a grass-roots, volunteer-led effort to provide support to homeless adults, families living in shelters, and others in need in Central Ohio. You can find more information on the Bridge and Beyond Project blog.
