Undergrowth Top
The Undergrowth Top was inspired by the shape of lantana flowers. This airy pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up to the armholes in a wrap-stitch pattern, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth in a lace pattern.

Finished Size 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)“ circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 36”; modeled with 1” of positive ease.
Yarn Jo Sharp Soho Summer DK Cotton (100% cotton; 109 yd 100 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #222 Freesia, 7 (8, 9, 10, 10, 12, 12, 13) balls. Yarn distributed by Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre.
Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16” and 24” circular (cir). Size 8 (5 mm): 24” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); stitch holders; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge 18 sts and 24 rnds = 4” in Wrap St patt on larger needle; 16 sts and 27 rows = 4” in Lace patt on smaller needle.

- The body of this pullover is worked in the round to the underarm, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down back and forth. Errata: Sleeve For size 32 and 36 After working lace pattern. Next row (RS) k2tog; rep from to end -- 46 (48) sts rem. Do not turn, Pm and join in the rnd. For size 40 (44, 48, 52, 56, 60) Sl 1, * k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1 -- 50, 52, 52, 54, 54, 56) sts rem. Do not turn, Pm and join in the rnd.
