Every home needs a unicorn! This whimsical project is made almost completely in the round, and the horn spirals on its own because of the placement of easy increases and decreases. This unicorn is deceptively simple to make; the hardest part is deciding where in your home it should live!

FINISHED SIZE About 12.5″ from nose to back of head and about 12″ from top of head to bottom of neck.
YARN Omega Tamm 2000 (distributed by Creative Yarn Source) (100% acrylic; 289 yd / 3.5 oz): #620 cream, 3 skeins (MC), #605 gold, 1 skein (CC).
HOOK Size E/4 (3.5 mm) and B/1 (2.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS Yarn needle; sewing needle; stitch markers, 5 same color, 1 contrasting color; fiberfill; foam board; dark brown embroidery floss, 1 skein; .75″ cabone ring, 1; 12″ cardboard piece, 1.
GAUGE Rnds 1–10 = 4″ in diameter; horn = about 7″ long.
