Unisex Gloves
Pattern description from One Skein: “Many beginning knitters wonder if gloves are worth the effort of knitting all those fingers. I, too, considered gloves to be too much work. But that was before I made myself a pair several years ago. There is something luxurious and special about handknitted gloves - they just don’t compare to anything you can buy.
Finished Size: About 6.25 (7.5, 8.5)“ (16 19, 21.5 cm) in circumference.
Yarn: Worsted-weight (CYCA Medium #4) yarn. Araucania Nature Wool (100% wool; 242 yd 220 m/100 g): #20 green (child), #17 red (woman), and #09 brown (man).
Needles: Cuff: size 7 (4.5 mm): set of 5 double-pointed (dpn). Hand and fingers: size 6 (4 mm): set of 5 dpn. Change needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders or waste yarn; tapestry needle.
Note: Both gloves have the same shaping and can be worn on either hand.
