Like most sock knitters, I was intrigued by the prospect of working socks from the toe up. But many of the toe and heel options were just too fiddly for me. So I figured I’d have to write my own!

Just like the Unpattern Sock from the cuff down, it’s a knitter-friendly and foot-friendly design: an all-over K2,P2 ribbed cuff fits a variety of ankles, and the ribbing extends all the way down the top of the foot to the beginning of the toe (no more squnchy looseness in your shoe!).

A heel-flap and short-row heel is easy to work; all necessary decreases are performed in the gusset.
