Urara is a sock featuring a lace pattern with two leg length options. They are worked toe-up with a heel flap and gusset. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. The lace patterns are charted only. Video tutorial links are included.

The pattern includes options of;
Leg design: Crew length leg with twisted ribbing, ankle length with picot hem

YARN
Fingering weight yarn
60-80 g for crew length, 50-70 g for ankle length
Note: The amount of yarn used will vary depending on the length of the leg and foot.

• Crew length: Tamayura Yarn BFL 100 (400 m / 437 yds per 100 g, 100% Bluefaced Leicester - superwash) shown in Pansy
• Ankle length: Eden Cottage Yarns Titus 4ply (400 m / 437 yds per 100 g, 75% Merino, 25% Silk) shown in Tarn

NEEDLE
US 0 / 2.0 mm circular needle
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Sample used 80 cm / 32″ circular needle.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, stitch markers

GAUGE
34 sts & 47 rnds = 10 cm / 4″ in stockinette st
31 sts = 10 cm / 4″ in lace pattern

SIZES
One size / 60 sts in the foot
Finished foot circumference: 18.5 cm / 7¼″
Foot and leg length: adjustable
Recommended fit: approx. 4-5 cm / 1¾-2″of negative ease, in foot circumference. (For example, if your barefoot circumference is 22.5 cm / 9″, finished circumference should be about 18.5 cm / 7″.)

Note: The size can be customized with varying gauges. Pattern includes size chart of customization by gauge (31-35 sts).
