Urchin Plumes
For the month of September, this pattern is exclusive to Post Stitch. To be notified when Urchin Plumes is available for purchase on Ravelry, sign up for Kathleen’s newsletter here.
What to do with six gorgeous twists of color from Backyard Fiberworks Sock kits? Swirl them together with bands of lace and garter stitch stripes to create Urchin Plumes.
Worked flat in two separate pieces (one lengthwise and the other worked across), then seamed together, this cowl will keep you cozy (and variously textured) all season long.
Small size can be worn long or doubled as a cowl (as shown). Large size makes extra cozy cowl or capelet/shoulder warmer. Shown in Dove in a Plum Tree, which consists of Urchin, Hosta, Plume, Dove, Ume, and Walnut.
Lace pattern is provided in both charted and written forms.
Finished Size
