I wrote this pattern for a beginning stranded colorwork class at my shop. Traditional Fair Isle colorwork requires one to change yarns every two to three rounds - leaving you ooodles of ends to weave in. I chose Urth yarns Uneek and Monokrom to make the hats because they do all of the color change work for you - plus they feel amazing!!

The hats are made from worsted weight yarns. If you are making the larger sizes, do not skimp on the required 220 yards of the mc.

The hats fit heads that are approximately: 18”, 19”-20”, 20”-21”, and 21-22”.

The pattern is both written and charted and includes instructions on how to catch floats.
