USA Strong Hat
I created a Boston Strong Hat in April of 2013 and it was so well received, it blew me away. After that hat I got so many “Strong” ideas for knitting, and I especially wanted a hat or two that would appeal to all. So came the “Running Strong” hat which crowns every runner with the winner’s Laurel Wreath and this hat, the “USA Strong” hat that makes us all patriots. It comes in two sizes, Child and Adult. Knit in the round with corrugated ribbing and a tiny rolled brim, its height makes it slouchy. Top with a tassel, pom pom or nothing - knitter’s choice.
It is topped with a ponytail tassel here, made just like a regular tassel without the tight band near the top.
