The sock *Utopia*is a beautiful, bi-coloured sock. A variegated yarn is used to form the background for a decorative zig-zagging slip stitch pattern in a contrasting, solid colour. This design provides a nice opportunity to use up left over sock yarn, because the background colour can be created by combining different variegated leftovers in matching colours.

Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference.

The pattern is charted.

Yardage: approx. 200 m (220 yd of colour 1 (black), approx. 120 m (135 yd) of colour 2 (variegated)

Die Socke *Utopia* ist eine schöne, zweifarbige Socke, bei der ein Farbverlaufsgarn den Hintergrund für ein dekoratives, zickzackförmiges Hebemaschenmuster in einer Kontrastfarbe bildet. Das Modell eignet sich prima zur Resteverwertung, denn für die Hintergrundfarbe können verschiedene, farblich passende bunte Reste aneinandergefilzt werden.

In der Anleitung werden Ferse und Spitze nicht näher erläutert; diese werden in gewohnter Arbeitsweise gestrickt.
