V-Panel Tee
Pattern Description from Cast On, May-July 2009: “The ‘V’ design of this top brings the eye up to the shoulders, complimenting all figures. The stitch technique at the edges of the ‘V’ adds texture and definition to the design. Kollage’s Corntastic yarn adds an elegant drape to the garment. By casting on stitches to the front and back for the sleeves, there is minimal seaming involved. Great for the new knitter and fashionable enough for the advanced knitter.”

Designer Note: The method used here to change yarn color is the intarsia method. When adding a new color, knit the first stitch, then carry the yarn underneath and over the color you are dropping to work the second st. When changing from one color to the next, it is important to always pick up the new color from underneath the old color yarn and to pull both yarns tighter than normal. this will cause a twisting of the yarns that will help prevent gaps.
