V Stitch Tutorial Washcloth
This crochet v stitch tutorial washcloth is perfect for beginners or to brush up on your skill.
Supplies/Materials:
Yarn - Nurturing Fibres Eco-Cotton DK (cotton yarn) – approx 80/85 yards (75/80 meters) – 30/35 grams; Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light.
Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) – I used Clover
Scissors
Yarn needle
Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
Gauge:
With yarn listed and 3, 50 mm (E) hook final washcloth should measure 9 ½ inches in width and 9 inches in length (24 x 23 cm).
However gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect
Finished Size:
Washcloth – 9 ½ inches in width and 9 inches in length (24 x 23 cm).
Pattern Notes:
Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.
