Poncho measures about 38½” 98 cm wide and 23½” 59.5 cm long (folded at shoulder line).

Poncho is made in one piece, worked back and forth in rows of Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) with Seed stitch borders.
Work begins at lower front edge and proceeds up to front neck. Stitches are bound-off to begin neck opening and shoulders are worked separately for 5 rows. Stitches are cast-on again to finish neck opening. Work
