Meaning “huge” in Finnish, Valtava is a large triangle-shaped shawl knit from the top-down in squishy two-color brioche stripes and featuring two size options. You can use only two colors, alternating which is the dominant color with each stripe, as in the sample, or switch things up and use completely different colors for each striped section for a colorful shawl that is sure to dazzle. The color possibilities are endless and there are no wrong choices. Plus, due to the nature of brioche knitting, there is no “wrong side” to this piece, providing endless styling choices to show off this gorgeous and graciously-sized shawl. Let your imagination run wild!
