Vandit Beret and Mitts
Wear the hat as a beret or cloche – either way you will be
both warm and stylish.
The originals were made in Zauberball Starke 6, but any 6 ply sock yarn or many DK yarns will work well.
Materials
For the hat:
40 (50, 65, 80) g 6 ply sock or DK yarn
2 cable needles about 3 mm for i-cord
6 stitch markers
For the mitts:
35 (40, 50, 65) g 6 ply sock or DK yarn
2 stitch markers
For either:
3.25 mm (US 3) needles
row counter
Sizes
to fit small (medium, large, extra large) teens and women
head circumference 21 (22, 23, 24)“
palm circumference 6 (7, 8, 9)”
