Vanilla Sport Socks
How I knit my own Vanilla Socks: sport weight version!
This is a free tutorial I’ve published on the R&S website, featuring a basic set of instructions for how I knit my own vanilla socks featuring our new Alpaca sock kits. Instructions are included for knitting both a garter stitch and stocking stitch heel flap, as well as the option to knit in one color or use a contrasting color for the heels, toes & cuff. You can view the tutorial here:

Please Note: this is not a traditional pattern. It’s more of a tutorial- a very loose set of instructions for how I knit my own sport weight socks, in the size to fit my foot. If you’re looking for a more traditional sock pattern with a wider range of sizes there are a vast number of gorgeous ones available (both for free and for purchase) online. One that I think would work quite nicely for a sport weight yarn like our Alpaca is the Vanilla Silk Socks (pictured below left) originally part of my ebook R&S Sock Club, but now also available individually here on Ravelry
