Vano Sospiro” is a shawl knit from the top down.
The first section is very simple and knit in garter stitch. The shawl continues with a wide, intricate lace border: the particularity of this border is that the 3 sections are knit one slightly different from the other. The result is a shawl with a very sophisticated.

Finished measurements:
200 cm – 80 in along the longer edge and 65 cm – 25 ½ in along the center section (after blocking).

Yarn and needles:
MYAK Baby Yak Lace (Lace weight yarn; 100% yak: 350 m – 380 yds / 50 gr – 1.76 oz. skein); 2 skeins.
Circular needles:
3.5 mm – US 4 and 5 mm – US 8 (optional, used for the final bind-off) with an 80 cm – 32 in or longer cable.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

Gauge:
17 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm – 4 in in garter st (after blocking).

Vano Sospiro” è uno scialle lavorato top down.
La prima sezione dello scialle è lavorata molto semplicemente a maglia legaccio.
Poi si prosegue con un alto bordo di pizzo molto lavorato: la particolarità è che le tre sezioni del bordo sono lavorate in modo leggermente diverso l’una dall’altra, rendono il risultato finale molto raffinato.

Misure finite:
200 cm lungo il lato più lungo e 65 cm lungo la parte centrale (dopo il bloccaggio).

Filato ed aghi:
MYAK Baby Yak Lace (100% yak: 350 m per matassa da 50 gr); 2 matasse.
Ferri circolari numero 3.5 mm e 5 mm (quest’ultimo solo per la chiusura) con cavo lungo 80 cm o più.
Se necessario modificare il numero degli aghi per ottenere il campione corretto.
Altro:
Ago da tappezzeria.
Spilli e metro da sarta per il bloccaggio.
