Meet the Vanrey Voules Vouz Capelet Pattern! Designed to accompany the 2025 ABBA “Advent-ure” box for The Fiber Genie. This 70’s-inspired accessory captures the drama and shimmer of disco nights with modern knitting flair.

Worked in DK-weight yarn, the capelet features a golden main color paired with 14 mini skeins for a stunning gradient or textured stripe effect. Construction includes five elegant eyelet increase spines that shape the shoulders beautifully and highlight a centered back spine for perfect drape and symmetry.

Whether you wear it with your fav flare jeans or your best wrap dress, the Voules Vouz Capelet will have you saying, “My, my, how can I resist you?”

Size A - 16” / 41cm neck circumference, (92 ½) bottom circumference (13 ½”) length

CCs: 10 DK mini skeins - 100 % Sweater Weight Merino Wool, 49 yds/29 g each. Sample shown in colors: Super Trouper, The Name of the Game, One of Us, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Dancing Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You, Waterloo, Lay All Your Love on Me, Voulez Vous, and Fernando.

(Please note that even though 14 DK skeins are included in the advent-ure kit, only 10 CC’s were used in this design).

Needles & Notions

• US Size 8 / 5 mm 24” to 32” circular knitting needles the rib neckline and optional i-cord tie
• US Size 10 / 6.5 mm 32” circular knitting needles for the body of the capelet and optional
Bow
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• 8 removable stitch markers
• Scissors
• Tape measure
• Closure used in the sample (linked in pattern)

Gauge
20 sts and 30 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in 1x1 rib stitch on US size 8 needles or size to obtain gauge.

16 sts and 18 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on US size 10 needles or size to obtain gauge.
