Our Varsity Sweater starts with a high neck and a deep raglan yoke for a boxy-yet-flattering fit. The sleeve detail is an excuse to add more color to your stash — or a chance to show off your favorite leftover hand-dyed colors and bases. Take this comfortable raglan from basic to sporty in three stripes flat!

The Lamb & Kid Tod Worsted (65% yak, 35% cashmere; 114 yards per 50g); 8 (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15) skeins of MC
Dimond Laine Birdie (74% alpaca, 26% silk; 328 yards per 50g); 1 skein each CC1 - CC3 for all sizes
OR
Worsted weight yarn in the following approximate amounts (approximate yardage is padded by 10%):
MC: 905 (1012, 1123, 1232, 1323, 1436, 1534, 1648) yds/ 823 (920, 1021, 1120, 1203, 1305, 1395, 1498)m
CC1 - CC3: Approx. 40 yards of a fingering weight yarn held double, OR 20 yards of a worsted weight yarn for each stripe
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
Needles listed are suggested.
Gauge Needle: US 7 (4.5mm), 16” / 40cm and 24”/60cm - 32”/80cm circular needles or longer, and needles to work smaller circumferences.
Ribbing Needle: US 5 (3.75mm), 16”/40cm and 32” / 80cm circular needles, and needles to work smaller circumferences.
TOOLS
Darning needle, 4 markers, including a unique one for BOR.
GAUGE
18 sts and 23 rounds = 4”/10cm in stockinette st in the round using Gauge Needle, blocked.
