Knitting pattern for pretty sunflower arrangement.

The pattern has instructions for knitting the flowers and leaves and how to attach them to the stalk.

Materials
Flowers Double Knitting Yarn
2 - 50 gram balls of yellow (used double)
1 – 50 gram ball of brown (used double)
8 flowers are required for this size of container

Leaves and sepals Double Knitting Yarn
2 - 50 gram ball of Dark Green (used single) 8 leaves required. The Dark Green is also used for the sepals and stems on each flower and for covering the canes

Needles 1 pair of 3¼ mm (UK10 – US3) plus double ended needles in same size

Garden Canes - 8 garden canes in the length you require for the sunflowers. The canes are covered by twisting the dark green yarn around the cane and sewn at each end. The sunflowers and leaves are attached to the cane by sewing them to the twisted yarn around the cane
