Vatulele cardigan features the simplest garment construction: it is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes (which means you can easily adjust its length by working fewer or more rows), then the fronts and back are worked separately until they are finally joined together as-you-go in the last row at the shoulders (no sewing required).

The ribbed collar around the fronts and neckline begin by working a row of stitches along the row ends and continues in turned rows until it is as wide as desired.

  • Yarn: Ethno-Cotton 1200 by Vivchari, 70% cotton, 30% linen, Light Fingering/3 ply, 1312 yd (1200 m) per 200 g ball held double
  • 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4) balls in 006 Cornflower

  • Four locking stitch markers
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends
