Veela Mitts
The Veela Beanie is one of my very first patterns and it’s finally getting matching mitts! Featuring the same slanting stitches and floral arrangement in between, this will work up beautifully in a single ply yarn. Pattern includes both fingerless and full coverage mittens.
The pattern is written so that you can knit this using DPNs, magic loop, or shorties.
The thumb finishing will need to be done with DPNs or magic loop. Instructions are written line by line in table format. Sizing adjustments are suggested in the pattern.
Worsted: Fingerless Mitts: ~100-135 yards, Mittens: ~140-150 yards
US 6/ 4mm shorties, DPNs, or circular needles
Light bulky: Fingerless Mitts: ~ 105-115 yards, Mittens: ~120-140 yards
US 7/ 4.5mm - US 9/ 5.5mm shorties, DPNs, or circular needles
Stitch marker(s)
