This pattern is available both in English and French.

Velaris - the name is inspired by the ACOTAR books I was reading when I knit it - is a sweater whose lace pattern you may recognize since it’s the same as the one on my Sambuco Tee, published last year.
When I created Sambuco I immediately wanted to work this lace on a yoke, to take full advantage of this pretty wave pattern.

The sweater is knitted in one piece, from top to bottom, without seams. After the neckline, knit the lace, then move on to a raglan part before separating the body and sleeves. It’s a very lovely shape that I really like to wear.

Velaris - dont le nom est inspiré de la saga Un Palais d’Épines et de Roses (ACOTAR pour les fans) que je lisais en le tricotant - est un pull dont vous reconnaîtrez peut-être le motif puisque c’est le même que celui de mon Sambuco Tee, publié l’an dernier.
Quand j’ai créé Sambuco j’ai tout de suite eu envie de travailler cette dentelle sur un yoke, pour profiter pleinement de ce joli motif de vagues.

Le pull se tricote d’une pièce, du haut vers le bas, sans coutures. Après l’encolure, on tricote la dentelle, puis on passe à une partie raglan avant de séparer le corps et les manches. C’est une forme très seyante que j’aime beaucoup porter.
