Verdura Bag
by Kate Alinari
This pattern is
available for free.
Pale honeydew meets vivid green in this showpiece bag.
Simple and stylish, it goes with everyday summer outfits.
Essentially made with 2 disks and 1 strip seamed together (plus
handles), it’s easy and fun to make. Leaves are worked
separately and then sewn onto the bag. Felt lining makes the bag
sturdy and non-stretching. No specific sewing skills are needed.
Disks are worked in the round in a continuous spiral without
closing off the round with a slip stitch. Place a stitch marker in the
last stitch of each round and move it up as you work. Side strip
and handles are worked flat; make beginning chs loosely. If
needed, use a crochet hook 0.5mm bigger to make beginning chs.
