Size: Women’s medium (shoe size 38-39). The length of the feet of the sock is easy to adjust to fit your feet. The widest circumference of the sock leg (unstretched) is about 34 cm (13.4 inches) when knitted with the recommended gauge. There is plenty of stitches in the leg part of the sock, which makes the leg more stretchy and fitting to even about 40 cm (15.7 inches) leg circumference if you keep your yarn floats loose enough. For bigger circumference of the leg, you can also add some MC stitches in center back. If you want smaller socks, use smaller needles also in stranded knit.

Needles: Circular needle(s) for magic loop or set of 5 double-pointed needles 2 mm (US 0) and 2.5 mm (US 1 ½) or others to obtain gauge.
Gauge: with larger needles: 33 stitches and 36 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4 inches) in stranded knit in round.

Yarn: Fingering weight sock yarn (100 g = 400-425 m / 437-465 yards), two colours: for example skin colour (MC) and red (CC). You need about 80-90 g of each color. For example; MC: CoopKnits Socks Yeah (50 g = 212 m), colorway 128 Lepidolite and CC: Louhittaren Luola Väinämöinen (100 g = 400 m), colorway Rakkaus.

Koko: Kengän koko 38-39. Terän pituutta on helppo säätää omalle jalalle sopivaksi. Sukan ympärys leveimmällä kohdalla venyttämättä on noin 34 cm, kun noudatetaan alla olevia neuletiheyksiä. Sukan varressa on paljon silmukoita, mikä tekee varresta niin joustavan, että se sopii jopa noin 40 cm paksuun pohkeeseen mukavasti kunhan pidät kirjoneuleen lankalenkit riitävän löysinä. Voit myös tarvittaessa lisätä sukan takaosaan pohjavärisiä silmukoita mallin siitä kärsimättä. Jos haluat kapeammat sukat, käytä ohuempia puikkoja myös kirjoneuleessa.

Neuletiheys ja puikot: Puikot 2 mm ja 2,5 mm tai käsialan mukaan. Työn voi tehdä sukkapuikoilla tai looppaamalla pitkällä pyöröpuikolla. Paksummilla puikoilla neuletiheys 33 s ja 36 krs = 10x10 cm kirjoneuletta.

Langat: Fingering-vahvuiset sukkalangat, joissa 100 g = 400-425 m. Valitse kaksi toisistaan hyvin erottuvaa väriä, esimerkiksi ihonvärinen pohjaväriksi ja punainen kuvioväriksi. Tarvitset kumpaakin väriä 80-90 g. Mallisukissa ihonvärinen pohjaväri on CoopKnits Socks Yeah -lankaa (50 g = 212 m), väri 128 Lepidolite ja punainen kuvioväri on Louhittaren Luolan Väinämöinen –lankaa (100 g = 400 m), väri Rakkaus.
