Yarn Information
Proving yet again that crocheted fabric doesn’t have to be stiff, Vertical Illusion drapes beautifully over the body. A slightly open stitch pattern and the right yarn make all the difference. The sweater shown was stitched in CGOA Presents Blithe #19 Bone China, which is a medium-twist blend of cotton, nylon, and rayon. For the best results, work your version in a yarn that has lustrous shine and a soft hand. Suitable replacement yarns for this sweater are Skacel Merino Lace (100% merino wool) worked as a double strand and Crystal Palace Baby Georgia (100% merino wool).
