Vertigo Socks
Simplicity Is: Colour blocking and stripes. Just don’t look at those stripes for too long - or you could end up with vertigo!
These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down.
This pattern is provided with written instructions and includes directions for both ankle and calf length socks.
Sizes:
Adult Small (Medium, Large, Extra Large)
To fit foot circumference: 17.5 (20, 23, 25.5) cm / 7 (8, 9, 10) in
Finished measurements:
Sock circumference: 15.5 (18, 20, 22) cm / 6 (7, 8, 8.75) in
Ankle Length: 2 (2, 2, 2) cm / 0.75 (0.75, 0.75, 0.75) in
Calf Length: 15 (15, 15, 15) cm / 6 (6, 6, 6) in
Foot length: 23 (24, 25.5, 26.5) cm / 9 (9.5, 10, 10.5) in or length desired
Materials:
Ankle Sock:
MC: 105 (130, 150, 165) m / 115 (143, 165, 181) yds,
CC: 65 (80, 95, 105) m / 71 (88, 104, 115) yds of 4ply (fingering) yarn
Calf Length Sock:
MC: 145 (165, 195, 220) m / 159 (181, 214, 241) yds,
CC: 125 (145, 170, 190) m / 137 (159, 186, 208) yds of 4ply (fingering) yarn
1 set 2.25mm / US 1 dpns
