Verve Vest
Verve is a clean, uncomplicated vest designed for everyday wear.
It’s simple, repetitive stitch pattern adds just enough texture to stay interesting without interrupting the flow of knitting. Light, practical, and easy to style, it’s the kind of project you reach for when you want something relaxing to make and effortless to wear.
This pattern is perfect for advanced beginners who are ready to begin knitting their first garment.
The pattern includes written and charted instructions.

The pattern is given in ten sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) 5 (6, 7) 8 (9, 10).

The vest is intended to be worn with 5-15 cm (2-6”) of positive ease.
Materials
Aran weight yarn 100 g (3.53 oz) = 166 m (182 yd), 100% Wool
Yardage: 252 (274, 325, 350) 375 (470, 498) 606 (637, 667) m | 276 (300, 355, 383) 410 (514, 545) 663 (697, 729) yd
The model in the photo, size 3, is made using Super Sheep Aran, Ginger Twist Studio, 100% Superwash British Bluefaced Leicester in Old Town Cobblestone color, with 7 cm (2.8”) of positive ease.
Needles: circular 5 mm (US 8) and 4.5 mm (US 7) or size needed to meet the gauge.
Notions: a crochet hook 4.5 mm (US H-8) for cast-on, a tapestry needle, scissors, and a row counter are recommended.
