Victorian Elegance
by Ann Kirtley
Gauge: In pattern, 3 crown stitches = 6.5”.,
12 rows = 5.25in.
Materials: Cotton worsted-weight yarn, approximately:
- 37oz natural
 - 10yds of 3/8in satin ribbon - natural

This elegant afghan is reminiscent of the fanciful throws found in Victorian homes. Simple crown stitches-- formed with a series of chains and single crochet stitches-- create the royal texture. Clusters make up the intricate scalloped edging, which is trimmed with a satin ribbon.
