The Victorian ice skater is wearing a big dress down to the floor as they used to in the Victorian era. Over the top of her plum colour dress she is wearing a dark red coat with cream edging, and on her head is a Santa style hat adorned with a sprig of holly.

It’s not until we see the back of the cosy that we see the elevated foot and ice skate. She’s gliding along on one leg.

She makes me think of that snowy scene in Little Women where Laurie and Jo go ice skating on a lake.
