Vida Socks
Vida Socks:
What you will need:
• Yarn – 100g Sock Yarn (approx. 365-400m / 400-440 yds) Yarn used in sample – Wool Barn Rustic Sock High Twist – (80% BFL 20% Nylon) in Colourway Country Walk (365m)
• Needles – 2.25mm or 2.5mm (US 1 or 1.5) on a Long cable for magic loop - Pattern is designed for Magic Loop Sock Knitting in mind however you can adapt it for knitting on DPN’s if you wish.
• Notions – Stitch Markers if you wish to mark out the lace pattern section and Beginning of the round.
• Gauge – Approx 8 sts/inch in stockinette
• Size – Socks are sized in a woman’s Medium (Large).
Techniques & Special Stitches Used:
K2tog - Knit 2 stitches together (1 stitch decrease)
SSK - Slip 2 stitches knitwise one at a time & knit together
through the back loop (1 stitch decrease)
K3tog - Knit 3 stitches together (2 stitch decrease)
SK2P - Slip 1 stitch Purlwise, Knit the next two stitches
together, pass slipped stitch over (2 stitch decrease)
