This ethnographic mitten has two rows of fringes on the cuff. The fringes are followed by a half braid and a full Latvian braid - both of which are in two colors. A band of overwork delineates the cuff from the upper mitten; a second band sits above the thumb. While the mitten requires five colors, only one or two colors are used at any one time.

Changes in yarn or needles will influence the gauge. Check your gauge in pattern before casting on.
