The Vildnis Sweater is a seamless top down sweater with a textured yoke. I used a fingering weight woolen spun yarn for a light knit that works for all seasons. The sweater is easy to wear do to the light fabric and simple shape.
Vildnis means wilderness in Danish and was inspired by my daily walks through nature around where I live and my love of knitted textures.

The sweater is worked top down with a beautiful folded hem at the neck edge followed by a little roll detail. The round yoke uses many fun techniques, such as herring bone stitch, lateral braids and tiny cables to create a stunning texture. Once finished with the yoke the rest is just mindless stockinette in the round.
