Vimátis
Strolling along the garden path, my eye is drawn to a burst of color in the distance. Upon reaching this distant corner, a magnificent clematis plant unveils itself in all its splendor. Adorned with delightful, velvety, rich purple flowers, the climbing vine reaches for the sky. The sunlight dances on the velvety petals, creating a subtle sheen and adding an extra layer of charm to the large, star-shaped blooms.
The Vimátis cowl draws its inspiration from the clematis, with its flowers and climbing habits. Vimátis combines columns of cables that grow like vines up the cowl, with sections of lace alternated with cables. The slightly fuzzy yarn adds texture and a luxurious, velvety feel to the cowl. Take a leisurely stroll and envelop yourself in flowery beauty.
The cowl name is a word play on clemátide, Spanish for clematis, vine, and velvet.
For best effect, use a round yarn with some stitch definition. A yarn with a slight halo is fine. Yarn weights ranging from Fingering to Worsted would be suitable. As for colorways, I would recommend solid, semi-solid, speckled, or gradient (single skein or gradient set) yarns.
