A modern cloche with a simple leaf and vine applique, this hat is knit in the round, then felted in a washing machine. The vine is a felted I-cord, and the leaves are cut from a fabric made from felted knitting. The appliques are attached post-felting with a sewing needle and transparent thread. Complete instructions are provided for making and sewing the appliques, and for felting the hat in a washing machine.
