If you’ve been eyeing those super chunky knit blankets, or looking for a handmade version of a weighted blanket, here’s an easy way to make your own crochet version.

The Vineyard Throw uses texture & color changing yarn so you don’t have all the ends to tie in. And by using Tunisian crochet the stitches look amazing! It’s got texture changes and color changes. Only one stitch to learn (I also have a link to a tutorial) so you’ll be able to work it up fairly quickly.

MATERIALS

Bernat Mix Home yarn - 1830 yds (10 skeins)
Tunisian Cable Hook - U/25mm (cable is not required, but because of the weight of the blanket, I recommend it.
Yarn needle

FINISHED SIZE - approx. 48” wide x 62” long (easily adjustable)

SKILL LEVEL: This is a beginner Tunisian pattern. Directions written so that they are easy to read and follow. All patterns are in English, and written in standard US terms.
