With US 1 (2.25 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle,
32 sts & 44 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette st.
34 sts = 4” / 10 cm in slipped stitch pattern.

Finished foot circumference:
7¼ (8½)” / 18 (21.5) cｍ
Note: For fitted socks, choose a size approximately 1¼ - 1½” / 3 - 4 cm smaller than your actual foot circumference.
Take into account that the total length of socks should be ½ - ¾” / 0.8 - 2 cm shorter than your actual foot length.
The fit can vary depending the yarn used. It is best to try on several times and make adjustments.

Pattern Note
The instructions are written using the magic loop method with a circular needle.
The socks are worked from the cuff down in the round. The cuff is worked in 1x1 twisted rib, then the leg in slipped stitch.
The heel flap is worked back and forth, then the foot is worked again in the round after gusset stitches are picked up.
Type 1’s foot is in stockinette stitch, while Type 2’s is knit in stockinette stitch (N1) and in the continuation of slipped stitch (N2).
Type 1’s toe is shaped with even decreases and the yarn is passed through live stitches to be closed at the end, while Type 2’s toe is shaped with every 2-round decreases and the remaining stitches are grafted using Kitchener stitch.

実際の足周囲から3～ 4 cmほど出来上がりが小さいサイズで編むとフィットした履き心地になる.
足底は希望の長さから0.8～ 2 cmほど引いた長さを編むとフィットした履き心地になる.
ゲージや使用糸の違いで変わるので何度か試着をして調整するとよい.

N1が足底, かかと, ふくらはぎ側, N2が甲, すね側を編む.
履き口から輪で編み, 脚から模様を編む.
かかとは往復編みをし, マチを拾い, 再び輪編みでつま先まで編む.
ガセットからタイプ1はN1, N2共にメリヤス編み, タイプ2はN1がメリヤス編み, N2は脚から続けて模様を編む.
つま先ではタイプ1は均一に減目をし最後は目に糸を通して絞る, タイプ2はN1, N２で1周おきに減目をし最後はメリヤスはぎをする.
