My grandmother knit this warm hat in the 1940’s for my dad to wear sledding in the cold Ohio winters. Dad has long outgrown the hood, but Grandma still wears it to shovel snow at the age of 94! Having lost the instructions years ago, she asked me to recreate the pattern and I was able to write a new pattern allowing for 3 different size options. Simply adjust the yarn weight and needle size and you can knit one to fit every member of your family.
