The errata has been corrected on the pattern.

After working section 7 there will be 349 sts on the needles.

Section 8 - Edging
The Trefoil pattern is worked in color #3 and knit onto the live sts along the edge of the shawl.
With a spare DPN in the same size as the working needles cast on 5 sts in color #3.

Eliminate rows 2 & 3 on the pattern work only row 1 as below:

Next row: Knit 4, knit the last st together with the first of the live sts on the shawl edge.

Then proceed to “Trefoil Edging”.

When all of the rows of “Trefoil Edging” have been completed There should be 1 live st left on the edge of the shawl.

Next row: Slip 1, k4.
Next row: Knit 4, knit the last stitch together with the first of the live sts on the shawl edge.

Work these last two rows one time only.

This shawl, named for Viola from Twelfth Night, was designed for the Wooly Wonka Fibers Shakespeare in Lace Club for December 2010. It is now available to those who are not club members.

The Viola shawl has both charts and written instructions for all of the stitch patterns. It is worked from the center top down. Stitches are picked up along the bottom edge and the border is knitted on.

Three shades of Wooly Wonka Fibers Euphrosyne Lace are used:

Color # 1 - Sororia 300 yards
Color # 2 - Heartsease 600 yards
Color # 3- Larkspur 300 yards
