Violet Storm Shawl
This pretty shawl is worked side to side, with panels of lace, in a gentle triangle shape. Then it has two knitted-on borders at the top edge. The two-colored edge is a simple slip stitch pattern where you use only one yarn per row. So while it looks complex, it’s actually very straightforward.
The thought behind the border at the top rather than the bottom, is that you will see more of it – it frames the face rather than emphasizing the backside.
I also added a jaunty little fringe to the lower edge, in purple, to add an extra pop of color there.
