Knitted from the top of the crown down, Virginia is a 1920s-inspired cloche with an asymmetrical brim, knitted with worsted weight yarn at a tighter-than-recommended gauge for a firm fabric that will keep its shape without the extra step of felting. A shorter crown and contrast band, along with a stockinette brim, differentiate Virginia from Ginger. Add a broach or decorative button for a bit of flare!
Choose a size that is as close to your actual head circumference as possible. If you are between sizes or prefer a jauntier fit, go down a size. Shown in Adult Small on a 22.5-inch head.
Skills Needed knitting in the round, increasing, short rows, i-cord bind-off (directions given).
