Worked from the top down, these socks begin with a sturdy but flexible German twisted cast-on at the leg and end with a Kitchener-stitch toe. A seed-stitch element adds an unexpected bit of texture to a traditional chevron motif, one that’s enhanced in the eye-of-partridge heel-flap pattern.
